Clear assessment
We assess each garment before quoting, so the work plan reflects the fabric, construction, and requested fit rather than a guess.
We reshape clothing with careful construction, clear communication, and a practical approach to every garment.
Stitch & Style works on tailoring, alterations, and garment remodelling for pieces that deserve a second life. We review the fabric, structure, and fit before suggesting what can be changed and what the material can realistically support.
From vintage fit updates to redesigns and fabric-reuse accessories, each project is planned around the garment itself. Our process keeps the work transparent from the first inquiry through collection.
Practical workmanship, honest guidance, and a respect for garments that already have a story.
We assess each garment before quoting, so the work plan reflects the fabric, construction, and requested fit rather than a guess.
We look for ways to reuse strong sections of the original piece and shape a redesign that suits the material available.
We review the fit at collection and explain the care and pressing notes needed to help the finished garment last well.
We keep the process transparent, with design approval before additional work and clear communication at every stage.
Built for customers who want thoughtful alterations and redesigns that respect the original garment.
Since 2016, the workshop has focused on clothing changes that are useful, wearable, and grounded in the condition of the fabric. We do not rush the assessment stage, because seam allowances, wear, and construction details shape what is possible.
Many of our projects begin with a garment that still has value, but needs a better fit, a new shape, or a more practical design. We discuss the concept, confirm the scope, and only move forward after approval.
That approach helps us handle alterations, remodelling, and upcycling in a way that feels considered rather than overworked. The result is clothing that keeps its character while serving a new purpose.
